Ryan Lawn & Tree Continues Commitment to Sustainability by Planting 30,000 Trees by 2030

MERRIAM, Kan. - Aug. 26, 2021 - PRLog -- Ryan Lawn & Tree, a leader in the lawn care industry,  has launched a new initiative in its continued efforts of environmental sustainability and has committed to planting 30,000 trees by 2030.

This decade-long initiative was introduced as Ryan Lawn & Tree aims to combat the decreasing Urban Tree Canopy in the United States. To achieve this ambitious goal Spencer Wicks, a 13-year RYAN veteran, Certified Arborist, and tree planting manager, has planted over 1,000 trees in the Kansas City metro this year alone. Trees not only add beauty and value to our landscapes but help purify our water and the air we breathe," says Wicks This year RYAN  is on track to plant more than 1,500 trees across their five midwest locations. A portion of RYAN's business pertains to removing hazardous or dying trees. For every tree RYAN removes, they promise to replace it by planting one in its place. By aiding in the Urban Tree Canopy efforts, RYAN is helping surrounding communities by supporting air pollution removal, reducing building energy use, carbon sequestration, and avoiding pollutant emissions.

Ryan Lawn & Tree has partnered with onetreeplanted.org to plant trees in California to help with fire recovery and deforestation. Years of drought and beetle infestation have severely damaged the once-thriving forests of California. Together with onetreeplanted.org, RYAN is helping to restore areas affected by wildfires throughout California, helping to produce ecological benefits such as habitat restoration and erosion control.
