Maria Shriver Headlines Lotus Network's 3rd Annual Signature Experience: Connect Now

DENVER - Aug. 20, 2021 - PRLog -- Lotus Network, a global women's organization that supports women in making the next chapter of life their very best, announced today their Annual Signature Experience: Connect Now with Emmy and Peabody award-winning journalist and seven-time New York Times best-selling author Maria Shriver.

August 29^th will truly be an exceptional Sunday," said co-director Lisa Cook, who founded the nonprofit with Leslie Heins. Likewise, in our lives, we sometimes become mired, stuck in the mud, so to speak. With focus, effort, and nurturing from people around us, we arise, blossom and show the world our beauty."

"When we wrote a letter to Maria Shriver to ask her to consider our keynote speaker role, we thought it was a long shot," Cook and Heins admitted. "After all, we're only a young nonprofit. But we felt if Maria understood what Lotus Network was about, she would see that we're kindred spirits. We speak the same language. We share the conviction that it's never too late to lead fulfilling lives and the mission of inspiring purposeful living, personal growth, and meaningful connections. And she agreed!"

Shriver will join the Lotus Network members and Signature Event ticketholders for a virtual chat at 10 a.m. MST on Sunday, August 29.
