IBT of Miami named 'Good Employer' for workplace practices

MIAMI - Aug. 19, 2021 - PRLog -- In recognition of good work place practices, IBT of Miami has received certification by the Association of Good Employers (ABE), a nonprofit organization sponsored by the American Chamber of Commerce of Peru (AMCHAM). The AMCHAM promotes and certifies the social labor responsibility of Peruvian companies.

The four IBT companies receiving the stamp of a good employer are Callao Salud, IBT Health, IBT Sucursal Peru, and Villa Maria del Triunfo Salud. They were recognized at the August meeting of AMCHAM in Lima.

The ABE certification required compliance with rigorous guidelines, methodologies, requirements, and an audit by the Société Générale Surveillance, a leading testing, inspection and certification company.

"The audit by a leading global inspection and certification company verifies IBT's good workplace practices. These include respect for employees, timely payment of salaries and social benefits, performance evaluation, training, recognition programs, a good work environment, and the signing and commitment to respect the ABE Code of Conduct," Toledano said.
