Southern Ocean Fall Non Profit Forum Scheduled for November 19

SHIP BOTTOM, N.J. - Aug. 19, 2021 - PRLog -- For over a decade the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce has presented informative forums created to engage local non profit organizations that serve the Long Beach Island Region. In time for fall planning, the region's chamber has announced their Fall Non Profit Forum, Finding Your Organization's Path to a Successful 2022 for Friday November 19 at 10am. This interactive workshop will be facilitated by Dr Joseph Marchetti, Former Vice President and Professor Emeritus at Stockton University. He will use this forum to open discussion on the new reality for non-profits. Breakout sessions will focus on matching resources with emerging needs and changes on how services are delivered, the increasing role of government in organizational operations, how to generate funding and steady revenue streams during turbulent times, and succession strategies for your board and its mission.

Dr. Marchetti has conducted professional workshops and training programs and served in various capacities on statewide and national organizations. He has also held volunteer leadership positions and board appointments in several community associations including Gilda's Club of South Jersey , the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross, the March of Dimes and Big Brothers/Big Sisters. As an experienced leader, Dr. Marchetti holds his Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership, Curriculum, and Instruction from the University of Pennsylvania.

The event is scheduled to be held at Stockton Manahawkin Campus 712 East Bay Avenue. Covid19 protocols will be in place for those attending. There is no fee to attend, but the organization representative must register with the Southern Ocean Chamber office by calling 609 494 7211 or emailing kate@sochamber.com  The Non Profit Forum has been gathering and educating local nonprofits for over a decade and is presented by Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce, Stockton University Manahawkin Campus & The Ocean County Culture & Heritage Commission.
