Early Learning Center partners with Minnesota Department of Education to feed kids

The Cornwell Early Learning Center is one of the newest partners in the Child and Adult CAre Food Program (CACFP)
 
MINNEAPOLIS - Aug. 12, 2021 - PRLog -- Urban Ventures' Cornwell Early Learning Center today announced its participation in the Child and Adult Care Food Program. Meals will be available at no separate charge to enrolled children at the following sites:

Cornwell Early Learning Center
2924 Fourth Ave South Minneapolis MN
7:00am - 6:00pm M-F

The goal of the program is to improve the diets of young children and increase hte opportunity for children to eat a variety of nutritious foods. Meals meet nutritional standards established by the USDA.

The Cornwell Early Learning Center in South Minneapolis is the latest initiative by Urban Ventures to address urban poverty. The CELC will provide much-needed access to early childhood education and prepare young kids for kindergarten. The center will serve 84 kids and their families, and is a part of the cradle-to-career pipeline of support designed to address the achievement gap in Minneapolis.
