Nyasia Chane'l honors The Wailers with fierce rendition of the classic "Mellow Mood"

NEW YORK - Aug. 5, 2021 - PRLog -- Fresh off the heels of her impressive debut EP "Clubhouse No. 7" in May of 2021, Nyasia Chane'l continues to work at a blistering pace. Since May Nyasia has been making appearances and performing all over the United States, including dates in Nashville, and Arizona most recently she headlined at the Chance Theater, while still working on new music and releasing records consistently.

Riding high off the success of her EP "Clubhouse No. 7" Nyasia released the EDM remix to the EP's single "Impatience" remixed by rising Italian Super-Producer and Club Deejay Margoet Smith and is currently garnering immense international attention, airplay, and notoriety. However, Nyasia is not one to forget her Caribbean roots, this daughter of Barbados always maintains that reggae music will always an arrow in her quiver.

Following the death of the last surviving member of the Wailers, Neville O'Reilly Livingston, aka Bunny Wailer earlier this year in March, Nyasia recorded a cover to the classic song "Mellow Mood" as a social media tribute to the legendary group. Nyasia is known for incorporating reggae into her catalog, last year she garnered international success with her hit record "Can't Stop Us", early this year she released "Scandalous Valentine, Pt 2." Which sampled "Turn Your Lights Down Low" (Another Bob Marley Classic featuring Ms. Lauryn Hill).

Receiving such positive feedback from her fans Nyasia decided to formally release the track to the DSPs, when asked why she decided to officially release "Mellow Mood", Nyasia had this to say; "Everyone loved my tribute so much and asked me to release it, so I spoke with my team, and we added it to my release schedule." She goes on to add, "I also felt it would be fitting to release the song the week of August 6^th in honor of Jamaican Independence Day, as a way to honor the country that produced one of my favorite musical groups of all time."
