The Ray, a Georgia-based collaborative project focused on connected vehicle infrastructure, is working on putting citizen's safety first, according to a recent report from GCN. The Ray is a partnership between state agencies, a family foundation and private companies that is primarily focusing on connected vehicle applications such as roadwork zone warnings and freight signal priority. This new phase will add seven new dual-active roadside radios and ten cellular vehicle-to-everything vehicles provide by Kia. Meanwhile, four new trends in cloud computing are continuing to expand the breadth of cloud offerings and accelerating growth across all segments in the public cloud services market, according to a recent report from Gartner. Additionally, with the fast expansion of IoT devices and use cases -- combined with additional radio spectrum -- are making antennas more complicated to manufacture.
