WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - July 27, 2021 - PRLog -- In a conference call, AML Wrestling officials announced that they have suspended the following talent without pay for at least 30 days and fined them $2500 each: Colby Corino, Zane Dawson and Dave Dawson.

It was reported that Zane and Dave Dawson (known professionally as The Dawson Brothers) and Colby Corino brutally attacked George South at 3:46pm, approximately15 minutes before the start of an AML Wrestling event, which was held on July 25, 2021.

"I felt that it was necessary to suspend both Corino and The Dawson Brothers without pay for at least 30 days and fine them $2500 each. These types of unprovoked attacks outside of a wrestling ring and in front of our fans will not be tolerated in AML Wrestling," said AML Wrestling owner Tracy Myers.

South, who was hit multiple times with a metal chair and brass knuckles, was immediately treated by on-site medical personnel. He sustained bruised ribs, minor head trauma and 6 stitches but is expected to make a full recovery.

In addition to the attack on South, Zane Dawson also stole an undisclosed amount of cash from the cashier. It was recovered later that evening.

Corino and The Dawson Brothers were contacted for a statement but didn't respond.
