Lifting the Veil on New Bible Study App

Oregon software developer rolls out innovative new Bible study app Veil, designed for inductive deep dives into Scriptural context, complete with a concordance and geographical references.

CANBY, Ore. - July 24, 2021 - PRLog -- Available today on Android, the new Bible study app Veil provides plenty of unique tools for delving into the Bible. The user-friendly app renders itself particularly useful for pastors, Bible teachers, and seminary students looking to create studies and delve deeper into the context and meaning of Scripture.

Veil's ad-free interface allows users to visualize every location mentioned in Scripture, perform word studies on each verse – complete with root meanings in Greek and Hebrew –, and view commentaries from John Wesley and Matthew Henry. Users are also able to use the "dice function", which randomizes their reading experience. The app also enables readers to review their reading history and bookmark sessions. Unlike other Bible apps, Veil lets users create their own studies, which they will be able to publish for site-wide review in the upcoming version release. All of Veil's functions are available for use offline.

"I wanted a way to experience the Bible, not just read it. I designed Veil to make understanding Scripture accessible for all types of learners. I'm especially excited about the map tool, which marks every location in a verse, chapter, or book of the Bible on an interactive map."
{Joseph Meeko - Developer}

The app's release coincides with an upward trend in digital Bible access. A study (https://sotb.research.bible/) from the American Bible Association found that in 2019, 23% of both Millennials and Gen Xers, along with 10% of Boomers, accessed the Bible in a digitized format several times per week. Veil's immersive study features and Bible study creation tool ensures readers retain what they read.

"This app is perfect for the reading and studies that I do. Everything is right at your fingertips, from the translations to the commentaries and the concordance."
{Lonnie Graves, a satisfied 77-year-old devout Bible reader who typically avoids technology use}

Veil is currently available on the Google Play store for $8: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.corepro...

All profits will be invested back into continuous improvements and updates. Veil will be available on iOS on August 21, 2021.
