Follow on Google News | Local Initiative to Provide Free Online Education in MorretesBy: SPELL, Morretes The objective of the program is to help develop the skills of the community, so that they are able to embrace the opportunities that will return after this difficult time. The free courses cover a wide range of subjects including Digital Marketing, Mathematics, Coaching and Psychology. They are online and require up to 40 hours of study per course. Upon successful completion of the course the student will be awarded a certificate, which can be printed and awarded at Unopar Morretes. Jeff Parfrey from SPELL English School Morretes, was born in England and moved to Morretes in 2017. He said that: 'Morretes has welcomed us and we love being here. We want to be able to contribute to local development and improve the quality of life locally. We hope that these courses will help to achieve this.' Mayor Junior Brindarolli has endorsed the project and was keen to ensure that every resident had free access to this resource. Kemely Parfrey from the newly opened Unopar Morretes branch told us that 'We are delighted to be able to support this project and to offer a free educational resource. We hope that it will help people improve their quality of life.' The Brazilian Alliance for Education (ABE) was founded in 2016 by the Cogna Education Group, of which Unopar is a member. The organisation's goal is to improve access to education across Brazil.
