Scottsdale Leadership Announces New Appointments to Board of Directors

Appointees further strengthen community presence, volunteerism and impact
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. - July 21, 2021 - PRLog -- Scottsdale Leadership, a non-profit civic organization with more than 1,200 alumni, is proud to announce the full slate of officers for 2021-2022 having elected Michelle Warren to serve for one term as the president of its board of directors.

"Michelle has served on the board for several years and brings over 30 years of adult education, strategic planning, continuous improvement and for-profit management experience to Scottsdale Leadership.  Michelle's expertise in processes and procedures will enable us to emerge stronger as we enter our second year of a three-year strategic plan," said Lee Ann Witt, executive director.

Scottsdale Leadership features a challenging nine-month program designed to educate participants about all facets of their community, its services and organizations. Graduates have gone on to serve on the Scottsdale City Council, boards and commissions and in leadership roles for many non-profit organizations.

"As we begin our 36th year, we are steadfastly focused on our mission to empower leaders to champion and strengthen the interests of the community.  Our board of directors plays an essential guiding role, bringing talent, expertise, and energy to the organization," said Warren.
