Blood donation drive by Mana Hotels Ranakpur

OTHER, India - July 17, 2021 - PRLog -- On the prestigious occasion of Doctor's day, Mana Hotels Ranakpur was the venue and hospitality sponsor for a blood donation drive. The event was graced by over 130 doctors and over 75 units of blood was collected.

"The timing of this event could not have been better given that the country has just come out of the deadly 2nd wave of the Covid 19 virus. The blood collected in this event will help save many lives in the time to come, " said Dr. Avinash Charan of Pali district, Rajasthan.

"Our management is always looking at opportunities to give back to the community. Before the pandemic hit the country, we had hosted another blood donation camp in January of 2020 where over 50 units of blood was collected. Hence, this is our 2nd blood donation camp in Ranakpur and we wish to do more such activities in the future," said Mr. Kishan Choudhary, Assistant Manager Operations, Mana Hotels Ranakpur.

The full day event held on 1st July 2021 started with the ceremonial diya lighting in the presence of senior doctors and management of Mana Hotels Ranakpur. Following this, the blood donation started with over 75 doctors donating blood during the course of the day. Each donor was given snacks after donation.

In addition, a gala lunch was hosted by Mana Hotels in its air conditioned restaurant for the comfort of the donors.
