Michael Zehnder, Bavarian Inn Lodge, receives the CEC Richard G Kraft Award
By: Bavarian Inn
The CEC Richard G Kraft Jr. Award recognizes an outstanding volunteer who goes beyond the normal work expected of volunteers to help make the Bavarian Festival the successful event that it is every year.
"This award really is the CEC's volunteer of the year award and it recognizes the person who works behind the scenes and makes sure all the pieces fall into place for the festival. This is a prestigious honor in Frankenmuth and Michael is very deserving of it," said Tanya Quackenbush, CEC President.
The Civic Events Council was created from members of each civic organization in Frankenmuth to run the Bavarian Festival each June. The Frankenmuth Civic Events Council was chartered in September of 1962.
