Kristen Uhl Hulse Joins Snell & Wilmer as Senior Director of Attorney Development & Recruiting

PHOENIX - July 13, 2021 - PRLog -- Snell & Wilmer is pleased to announce that Kristen Uhl Hulse joins Snell & Wilmer as the Senior Director of Attorney Development & Recruiting and will based in the firm's Denver office.

She brings to the role nearly 20 years of experience working in legal education, law firm recruitment, and professional development. Previously, she was a full-time faculty member in the top-ranked Legal Externship Program at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she taught practice-readiness and corporate lawyering seminars. Hulse continues to serve as a Legal Education and Employment Advisor with the Institute for the Advancement of the American Legal System (IAALS) on their Foundations for Practice Project.  She publishes and presents frequently on strategies for advancement in private practice, emerging legal opportunities, and collaboration between law school faculty and legal employers to produce practice-ready graduates.

Hulse began her career as an Associate with Dechert LLP in Washington, D.C. and London; additional experience includes recruitment and professional development roles with Georgetown University Law Center, the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, and the San Francisco law firm Coblentz Patch Duffy & Bass LLP.

Hulse serves on the Board of Directors for the Professional Development Consortium (PDC) and has held several leadership roles with the National Association for Law Placement (NALP).  She will be inducted as a Fellow of the College of Law Practice Management in Fall 2021.
