CALI, Colombia - July 10, 2021 - PRLog -- Marvin Ramirez, the Colombian professional basketball player is launching a new Charitable Foundation. The new Marvin Ramirez Foundation  brings a long-term strategy to rebuild communities that have been affect by gun violence in Colombia.
Marvin announced today an initiative to build new Multi-Sport Game Courts through his Foundation. The Foundation will work in partnership with NGO partners to provide education, school feeding, and sport activities.

"There is a great need for immediate help in Colombia, but also for longer-term reconstruction" said Marvin. "For that reason, we are doing our small part to help rebuild and give the children affected by the criminal activities that has become the norm in our country. We Can't continue to let the violence dictate the future of our kids. Its up to us to give the kids a chance to learn and thrive. When we educate children we empower societies, and right now Colombia needs all of our help. "

Marvin is committed to building strong community relationships and ensuring it creates a positive legacy that helps local communities to thrive. As part of its charitable giving strategy, Marvin supports a range of local and national good causes, and encourages NGO partners to get involved with both fundraising and volunteering.
