Snell & Wilmer Partner Kelly A. Daly Recognized Among Arizona Bar Foundation Top Pro Bono Attorneys

The Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education (https://azbf.org/) instituted the annual award in 2001 to recognize attorneys who "have tirelessly given their time and expertise to assist Arizonans who would otherwise have no legal resources." The State Bar of Arizona created the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education with the mission of promoting access to justice for all Arizonans.

Daly represents publicly and privately held companies, government agencies, and coalitions in complex negotiations and on transactional and regulatory matters, compliance issues and strategic projects. Daly has extensive experience in the natural gas, electric and oil industries on matters and in proceedings before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), state agencies and the Federal Appellate Courts. In addition, Daly advises and represents a broad range of clients (including agricultural, utility, construction, defense contractors, food manufacturing, real estate, medical/healthcare and police and fire departments) on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and Autonomous Vehicles (AV) matters before local, state and federal legislative bodies, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Daly began her legal career in the Criminal Division, Organized Crime and Racketeering Section of the Department of Justice and subsequently served in the role of an Attorney Advisor to the Administrative Law Judges at the FERC.

Among her volunteer activities, Daly has served as pro bono counsel at The Florence Immigrant & Refugee Rights Project, Inc., as a member of the Board of Directors at Local First Arizona and at the Franciscan Renewal Center, as an organizer at Love Grows, and as a youth basketball coach. In addition, Daly has consistently been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® for Energy Law (2007- 2021) and was recognized by Public Utilities Fortnightly in its list of the Nation's Top 25 Regulatory Utility Lawyers of 2011. Daly received her J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School and her B.A. in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
