By: Corinthian Travel
Israel is an extraordinary country, and his home to many towns, villages, churches and monuments that bring the Bible to life – it is also home to some excellent hotels and first-class beaches.
Middle East and North Africa specialist Corinthian Travel offers a choice of seven private, chauffeured itineraries to Israel, including the 10-day 'The Promised Land Private Tour (https://www.corinthiantravel.co.uk/
The tour is designed for the Christian visitor with a keen interest in visiting the Holy Land's New Testament sites as well as discovering cultural highlights.
Considered one of the most holy places on Earth, Israel is extraordinarily rich in culture, and is a place where the ancient hills and stones almost 'speak' to you with tales of Old Testament prophets and disciples spreading the good news.
Time on the tour has been dedicated to exploring the sites of Christ's early ministry in the Upper and Lower Galilee, where amongst other places, you will see Capernaum where St. Peter once lived, Mount Tabor (site of the Transfiguration of Christ), and Nazareth's Basilica of the Annunciation.
The keystone of the trip is a four-night stay in the Holy City of Jerusalem with two days dedicated to the magical Old City itself.
Here you will be able to admire the views from the Mount of Olives, walk the Palm Sunday route to the Gardens of Gethsemane, visit the Stations of the Cross, and gaze on the mount of Golgotha. Visits to Ein Kerem, the birthplace of John the Baptist, and the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem complete the itinerary.
The holiday can start on any day (the summer months can be very hot!) and costs from £5795 per person (two sharing a room). This includes private transportation throughout, nine nights 'B&B', sightseeing/
