Prommt Secures PCI-DSS Level 1 Certification ahead of Global Expansion
Prommt, the payment success platform that enables merchants to deliver secure and personalised payment requests across a range of popular messaging channels, announced that it has been certified for PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) Level 1 compliance.
PCI DSS Level 1 is the highest and most stringent level of certification available to payment service providers and the designation will solidify Prommt's position as the payment request solution of choice for large enterprises.
Speaking about the announcement, Prommt CEO, Donal McGuinness said;
"Prommt has always placed an extremely high priority on security and data protection. It's a key reason that the platform is trusted by some of the world's best-known brands. This certification is a clear confirmation of that and will undoubtedly help us to attract even more large enterprise and corporate clients."
The last 12 months have proven to be transformative for Prommt, with the platform attracting unprecedented numbers of enterprise-level clients and increasing payment volumes by more than 600%.
Prommt now has more than 4,500 users across the UK and Ireland with a growing focus internationally. This PCI DSS Level 1 certification puts Prommt in a strong position to accelerate its growth and continue transforming multi-channel payment processes for merchants across the globe.
Referring to Prommt's plans for expansion, Donal McGuinness stated;
"The move to online payments has accelerated dramatically through 2020 and into this year. At the same time, large organisations are increasingly committed to providing responsive, omnichannel payment options. This is great news for Prommt. Our existing relationships with most major payment gateways will allow us to expand into markets such as Mainland Europe, North America and Asia Pacific at pace. And this globally-recognised certification will prove invaluable as we complete that journey."
