Who Will Rule The Wilds Of The Texas Outdoors?

SAN ANTONIO - June 28, 2021 - PRLog -- Following the success of their YOUR SA Readers' Choice program earlier this year, the Express-News is extending YOUR SA into the great outdoors in Texas. They are excited to expand the beloved program to better support their reader's affinity for the outdoor lifestyle.

We know San Antonians and Texans have a love for the outdoors, and we can offer a unique way for the city to showcase who they think is the best. Plus, our timing is right before hunting season and temperate fall temperatures that get Texans out and camping. We can give the community a road map for those activities. Good, better, best? Who will reign Supreme in the outdoors in San Antonio in 2021? Only a select number of businesses in the San Antonio area can be deemed the cream of the crop and stand out among all the rest. Annually, the San Antonio Express-News and MYSA.com have honored local restaurants with their Readers' Choice Awards. The Express-News expanded the original Reader's Choice Program and rebranded to YOUR SA at the beginning of 2021.

Now with the extension of the program into the great outdoors, the nomination round will include several categories within outdoor affinities, such as: best hunting gear, best cooler for backcountry camping, best outdoor outfitter, just to name a few. Nominations will officially begin July 7 and run through July 23.

Voting will begin August 12 – August 30 on the top five in each category.

The program will culminate with a special section on September 26 that will feature all the nominees, the overall winner of each category, and select featured businesses.

The nominated businesses aren't the only ones who have a chance to win.

Voters, too, are eligible to win a prize. Those who vote in more than 25 categories will be entered in a sweepstake to win $500.
