CCIA Announces Call for Applications for 2021 Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge
Market-driven showcase connects clean technologies to global oil and gas organizations
CCIA is hosting the Oil & Gas Cleantech Challenge (OGCC) in partnership with industry leaders from across the globe. The OGCC provides targeted connections between industry operators, OEMs, and clean technology solution providers with the goal of meeting industry's needs while introducing innovative cleantech solutions to the marketplace.
Companies selected for participation in the program have the opportunity to present directly to industry representatives. There are no geographic restrictions for this event.
"CCIA is pleased to host the 2021 Oil and Gas Cleantech Challenge which helps to connect clean technology solution providers with the world's top energy companies," said CCIA executive director Helen El Mallakh.
CCIA's partners for this program include ConocoPhillips, Chevron, bpx energy, Ovintiv, Colorado Energy Office, Consulate General of Canada in Denver, Holzer Patel Drennan, Holland & Hart and ICEED.
The application process is now open for clean technology companies to showcase their innovative products and technologies. The application will remain open until August 12, 2021. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
Air, Especially Methane Detection or Control
Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage
The Internet of Things/Digital Oilfield
Items to Reduce Truck Traffic
Remote / Distributed Power
Space-Saving Items to Reduce Footprint
Plant or Biological Solutions
Advanced Materials and Chemicals
Solid Pollution Reduction
Hydrogen and Hydrogen Infrastructure
Interested cleantech companies will enter a competitive vetting process, after which 10-12 companies will be invited to present their technologies to major mining companies. The application and more information can be found here: https://www.coloradocleantech.com/
