New Members Appointed, Recognized by Main Street Waterbury's Board of Directors

WATERBURY, Conn. - June 28, 2021 - PRLog -- Main Street Waterbury's Board of Directors approved the appointment of four new members to the board during its June 2021 meeting. New Board of Directors members appointed are Ralph Richard, First Vice-President at Savings Bank of Danbury in Waterbury; Terry Macary, the Waterbury Regional Chamber's Tourism Administrative Director; Carolee Kalita, Sales Manager Courtyard Marriott Waterbury; and Matt Byrne, who owns and operates Minuteman Press in downtown Waterbury.

In addition, during MSW's Annual Meeting on June 8, the following supporters were formally recognized. Kathleen Natale was recognized as Board member of the Year, Stephanie Harris of the Mattatuck Museum, as Volunteer of the Year and Diane Gorman owner of Signature's Restaurant, as Advocate of the Year.

Finally, MSW recently received National Accreditation from Main Street America. This marks the 17th consecutive year recognizing it efforts as a Main Street organization to following the program's mission and making an impact on the local community.

Main Street Waterbury is a 501c3 non-profit, downtown revitalization program in the context of historic preservation.
