Diversity and Inclusion training for return to the office
Inclusivitii founder discusses how the return to the office could be daunting for many people.
Aduke Onafowoken, Founder and Managing Director of Inclusivitii explains: "Many people have been working in physical isolation from their teams for over a year. As Covid-19 restrictions ease teams will head back to their offices, and it is a leader's responsibility to shape an inclusive and diverse landscape to return to."
"For many people, returning to the office could be a daunting experience which is why it is so important to invest time and energy into a smooth transition and this includes making people feel heard, supported and comfortable."
"Pride Month 2021 has also shone a spotlight on the importance of diversity and inclusion, and the benefits of fully embracing diversity and inclusion are endless including stimulating new innovations, fostering rich communication and helping businesses reach a wider audience."
Inclusivitii offers a flexible approach to equip teams with the skills required to transform leadership practice to create a lasting legacy of inclusion and equity that
confronts workplace inequality among women, persons of different ethnicities and all under-represented groups including LGBTQ+.
Coaching exercises are an effective way to gain confidence and mastery of complex issues and can either be organised as 1-2-1 sessions or group coaching programmes on diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging.
Inclusivitii's best-selling coaching programme is the Leadership Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Change which consists of six two-hour weekly sessions. This programme equips organisations with detailed knowledge on diversity, equity and inclusion themes, latest research and methods, leadership response and an effective change management method.
Aduke Onafowoken adds: "We are at a moment in history like never before and returning to the office requires a balancing act that promotes business goals, revives the economy whilst protecting employee welfare. Businesses that get this right will experience better outcomes and enjoy the long-term rewards of a positive and productive team."
