DFE Pharma donates medical equipment to the Cuddalore Government Hospital

CUDDALORE, India - June 22, 2021 - PRLog -- ince March 2020, the whole world has been suffering from the Covid pandemic.  India is one of the worst-hit countries by Covid-19. DFE Pharma's Cuddalore manufacturing site is located in the state of Tamilnadu, which is ranked among the five most affected states in India.

As DFE Pharma, we care about our people and value the local communities we work in. Therefore DFE Pharma team in India acted immediately when it became clear that urgent assistance was required in the supply of medical equipment at the end of May 2021. Being able to support is in our DNA.

Sendhil Shankar, Site Director DFE Pharma Cuddalore, commented: "We are very proud that we have been able to quickly establish support, and make a donation to the Cuddalore Government Hospital. On the 10th of June, we handed over the requested medical equipment. We have provided two oxygen concentrators and ten O2 cylinders to treat critically ill patients. In addition, we have offered 5000 medical masks to help prevent a further outbreak of the virus."
