-- Ms. Torgerson's client was being investigated for criminal sexual conduct out of the City of Minnetonka, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota. Her client was a 72 year old man, a widow, with no criminal history. He also had had a 37 year long successful career, from which he retired. He also did not use alcohol and never smoked. It was alleged that he had sexually assaulted a woman at a facility, who had recently been diagnosed with dementia. Even so, the woman could still speak well, walk, shop, order food, and recognized people. However, when the facts were brought forward, no charges were brought. Indeed, Ms. Torgerson's client and this woman had been having an affair for at least 26 years. Hence, there was a long history of consent. This was not a case of a stranger assaulting a vulnerable woman in a facility. Well done Ms. Torgerson.
