New GiraffePad podcast asks the question 'How do you make learning stick?'
As the name suggests, the podcast is designed for trainers and coaches who don't simply want to "tick a box", but instead create engaging learning journeys which empower learners to take the lessons learnt from the virtual classroom out into their day to day lives.
Hosted by GiraffePad co-founder Mark Williams, the podcast invites a range of guests to explore a range of timely subjects that promise to empower the work of trainers and facilitators. Available to stream and download now, there are episodes focusing on issues from the gamification of learning right through to the specifics of micro learning.
Guests so far have included Terry Pearce of Untold Play, Jamie Dixon of Shaping Paths, Scott Hunter of The Innovate Crowd, Rodd Webb of The Trainers Library, and Angela Mitchell from Juicing the Lemon. The 'Learning that Sticks' podcast also recently featured Sarah Jane Mckechnie and David Pullan of StorySpotters.
Other episodes explore similarly exciting issues in L&D, from the benefits of learner-led training, the best way of implementing online learning tools, and the ways that storytelling may provide altogether new ways of teaching lessons that stick.
Learning That Sticks is available to stream and download on all major platforms, from Spotify to Apple and Google Podcasts. To discover all of the places you can access the show, and to keep up with the latest in learning and development insights, visit the GiraffePad podcast page today.
