WORLDWIDE, 1 July 2021 - Perceptions and attitudes towards Persons with Special Needs or Disabilities negatively impacts the quality of life of them and the people around them, preventing their integration into society. The lack of interaction and understanding between PwDs and the general population is a huge contributing factor. As many as 1 Billion people around the world live with some form of disability. In an effort to spark conversations on attitudes towards Persons with Special Needs and Disabilities, Twistrek Sunglasses and the Movement of Inclusivity (MOI) have launched a global campaign that aims to showcase the creativity of persons with special needs through their mascot Tanty - a symbol of care and community.
