ABOUT THE AUTHOR

A retired Army Cyber Officer and lead data scientist for the government, Dr. Jacob Cox spent over twenty-one years in the U.S. Army deciding what he wanted to be when he grew up. Along the way, he rose from the rank of private first class (E-3) to major (O-4) while picking up a Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University, a master's degree from Duke University, and a Ph.D. from the Georgia Institute of technology. His published research papers in education, cyberspace, engineering, and computer science have also received hundreds of citations in scientific journals and conferences. Before leaving the military, Jacob picked up some excellent investing strategies as well. As a professed Christian, a husband of 25 years, a lover of learning and cats, and an investor, Jacob possesses a firm understanding of what it takes to thrive following military service.
