Celebrate Father's Day June 20
- June 8, 2021
-- Father's Day became a national holiday in 1972, but it goes back to 1910 founded on the need to celebrate fathers and the importance they have on the lives of those around them. Last year with COVID restrictions in place, there were many who could not share the day. This year, the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce wishes the happiest Father's Day for all who are reconnecting and planning for some quality time.
The Long Beach Island Region is a popular gathering place which provides options to fit all of Dad's needs. From outfitting him with a classic look, to setting an appointment for a new take on an old fashioned Barbershop shave. Hitting the ocean or the bay on boat, or heading into skies on a bi plane over the Jersey Coast. Getting new gear for the tacklebox or garden shed, or just relaxing with good food and cheer; the choices seem endless. That is why the region's chamber rely on most requested information when selecting choices for their Eat, Drink, Buy LBI Region Digital Guides and Father's Day 2021 is no exception.
