Museum tribute to legend Bob Dylan set to open in Downtown Tulsa will feature unseen footage, recordings, and more.

TULSA, Okla. - June 5, 2021 - PRLog -- With a career span of nearly 60 years, Bob Dylan remains one of the most influential figures in popular culture. Tulsa will be home to a new 3-story museum filled with artifacts and memorabilia from the artist's large archive. What will be known as the Bob Dylan Center is set to open its doors in May 2022 in Downtown Tulsa's Arts District.

The collection will showcase more than 100,000 items that include unseen live performances, photographs, handwritten song lyrics, and much more. Within the exhibits featured at the Bob Dylan Center, you will find a lifelong timeline of Bob Dylan's career, a screening room with documentaries, and a Columbia Records Gallery.

The museum is expected to attract Dylan fans from all around the world. Located near the Woody Guthrie Center, the exterior will display a rare photography of the artist that was captured by Jerry Schatzberg. Information on ticketing will be released later this year.
