Local Youth Baseball & Softball Trainer Goes National Over Airwaves

WALTHAM, Mass. - June 2, 2021 - PRLog -- Michael Freire, owner and director of player development at THE FARM BPI, has been a leader for decades. The Farm BPI is home to MINUTEMEN BASEBALL and RENEGADES SOFTBALL PROGRAMS.

His early adult years is a Marine set him up with a foundation of discipline, pride and appreciation for opportunity. As he became a coach, an instructor and a leader in other professions, he found metaphors for weaving these characteristics into his players.

Coach Mike has taken his experiences, his hitting and pitching tools and toys, and his sense and humor, and joined up with an old teammate, Dr. Kevin McGovern, PT, CSCS, in their new "Prove It Live" Podcast. Each week, they discuss current events in the world of baseball (and softball) and focus primarily on keeping athletes healthy. They also address how social media is impacting the world of youth baseball development.
