With the increase of various types of marital and familial abuse during the Pandemic so has the number of family law cases increased. We are all too familiar with domestic abuse, drug abuse, verbal abuse, child neglect, which all lead to divorce but there are some uncommon reasons that still have a severe emotional impact on the family.
In an interview with a recent divorcee on his podcast show MediateThis!
Matthew Brickman made the statement, "We're used to hearing about drug abuse, verbal abuse, child neglect, etc. which can lead to divorce - but not always...sometimes it's just I love you but I'm not in love with you."
Mr. Brickman has completed the Harvard Negotiation Master Class and the Harvard Business School's Negotiation Mastery program in order to better serve his clients.

Matthew Brickman is a Supreme Court of Florida certified county civil family mediator who has worked in the 15th and 19th Judicial Circuit Courts since 2009 and 2006 respectively. Mr. Brickman recently graduated both the Harvard Business School Negotiation Mastery Program and the Negotiation Master Class at Harvard Law School.
