Local Virtual Preschool Music Class Gains International Singers

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - May 24, 2021 - PRLog -- In the summer of 2020, the Jacksonville Children's Chorus (JCC) started offering Free Virtual Preschool Music Classes for young children from 18 months to 5 years of age using Zoom. The program gives young children the opportunity to safely receive a fun and educational musical experience during the global Covid-19 pandemic.

The Virtual Preschool Classes started with few local members and has quickly expanded to hundreds of young children. As of May 2021, the JCC's virtual educational outreach program has reached children all over the globe. Families located in multiple countries in Europe, South America, Africa, and North America have logged on to learn more about music including the basics of rhyme and rhythm.

Ms. Denise, grandmother of a Virtual Preschool participant, says she enjoyed the opportunity to participate. "When classes were in-person it was too far away for us to attend," says Ms. Denise. "My granddaughter loves singing so we were happy to have the opportunity to participate."
