As mental health crisis worsens, Dallas coach training institute launches new support services

IRVING, Texas - May 24, 2021 - PRLog -- After a tough year, one global coach training organization is upping its game in the fight against the mental health stigma.

The Global Institute for Coaches & Entrepreneurs (GIC&E) is launching new mental health counseling services in partnership with licensed mental health professionals. Their goal is to equip struggling people in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area with coping skills and strategies for addressing trauma and finding hope and healing.

GIC&E's new mental health offerings include mobile support services focused on skills building, psycho-social rehabilitation, and other wraparound support for children and adults; short-term, multi-disciplinary day programs that address acute psychiatric needs; support groups for individuals and families; and other mental health rehabilitation services.

"As life coaches, our job is to save lives as we spread love and hope," said Master Coach LaKendra Smalley, owner and CEO of GICE. "The only way to eradicate mental illness is to talk about it and show up for healing every day."

To officially kick off their new mental health services, GIC&E will host a ribbon cutting ceremony on Sat., July 24 at 801 W. Irving Blvd. The day before, They will host a life coach community and job fair event to inform, educate, and empower participants on what life coaching is and how it can be used in every industry, community, and home.

"We want to give back in a very important way to our community by fighting the mental health stigma gripping our nation," Smalley said. "Our aim is to give our clients the supportive mental care services they need and deserve."

To complement their new mental health services, GIC&E has launched a mental-health-themed "Be Kind To Yourself" gift box that comes with access to a live, virtual workshop and a virtual. The gift boxes will be available at the event.
