By: Yoga Gives Back
Sponsorships are available and tickets can be purchased for YGB special sessions and global charity events spanning 30 countries, including virtual and live yoga classes, interviews, and ending with a "Global Gathering for India" concert. Participating teachers include YGB's leading Ambassadors including Gurmukh, David Swenson, Kino MacGregor, Lisa Walford, Seane Corn, Elena Brower, Kia Miller and many more, with special guests such as Beryl Bender Birch, Larry Payne and Wanda Akin.
Yoga Gives Back (YGB), a grassroots nonprofit organization dedicated to mobilizing the global yoga community to support Mother India, is inviting all yoga enthusiasts, students, teachers, and thought leaders from around the world to come together in gratitude to support India during this time. "India has generously given the world the eternal gift of yoga and it is our goal to create a community of #OneMillionYogis to give back, especially at this time with the Covid crisis escalating in India. I am grateful for our dedicated sponsors and the many YGB global ambassadors that have already committed their support to host and donate classes. Their commitment and willingness to spread the word has inspired many new yoga teachers from around the world to get involved and host a charity class," said founder Kayoko Mitsumatsu.
Event sponsors include Banyan Botanicals, Liforme, Jois Yoga, YogaOne UAE, and JALA. The ongoing commitment of partners, sponsors, donors, and yoga practitioners across the world ensures that YGB can continue to support more than 1400 women and children as they face this crisis and rebuild their lives and communities devastated by Covid-19 and Cyclone Amphan.
