Families of World War II Veterans to be Benefiting Charity at Frisco Charity Car Show

FRISCO, Texas - May 21, 2021 - PRLog -- Families of World War II Veterans is excited to be a benefiting charity at the first annual Frisco Charity Car Show. The event will take place on Saturday, May 22 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at two adjacent locations on Flyers Way in Frisco. The event will feature more than 100 cars displayed indoors and outdoors, live music, food trucks, raffles and prizes. The event is open to the public and admission is free. Donations received from the event will go in part to Families of World War II Veterans to help support its scholarship fund.

Families of World War II Veterans was founded by Barbara Fasola, CEO of Frisco-based Careington International Corporation. Fasola was moved to create Families of World War II Veterans in honor of her father, a World War II veteran, who served in the South Pacific.

Families of World War II Veterans awards annual scholarships each year to students pursuing an undergraduate degree at the college of their choice. Scholarships are awarded based on academic standing and financial need, and no lineage is required.

"This very special event will bring together people across the community in support of youth-focused charities, including Families of World War II Veterans. The organization was founded to help students achieve their goals of attaining a higher education, and we are thrilled to be a part of this charity event designed to help support future generations."
