Local Children' Author Holds First Book Signing May 17

WATERBURY, Conn. - May 17, 2021 - PRLog -- Local children's book author and marketing executive Michael Desroches is holding his first book reading and signing with some area children who are near and dear to his heart – members and friends of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Waterbury. The event begins at 4 p.m. on May 17 and will feature Michael reading and signing his new book "There is a Moth in Daddy's Coffee" for young fans, and some free surprises.

Michael, the founder and principal of local marketing agency Brand Inspiration is also a longtime Board Member of the Boys & Girls Club. That dedication to children's futures is one of the motivations behind his new book series. "The whole purpose behind writing these books is to advance young minds by encouraging kids to read. Plus, we are using part of the proceeds from book sales to provide additional books for children who need them. As a dad, I know how important it is to encourage a love of reading, and I don't want to see any children falling behind for lack of reading materials in their homes."

Michael's book, "There is a Moth is Daddy's Coffee," follows the adventures of Matthew, a rambunctious 7-year-old who loves to sing, dance, and be silly. In this first book in the series, a mysterious visitor flies in and lands in daddy's coffee! How will dad react? Young readers will eagerly turn the pages to learn more – and to find the hidden moth on every page.

About the Author:  Michael Desroches has a passion for promoting child literacy — it's almost as strong as his love for writing.
