CME Corp Announces Five-Year Contract to Provide Healthcare Equipment and Other Medical Supplies
U.S. General Services Administration Contract to include PPE & UV Disinfecting Systems

The signing marks another major agreement for CME with the federal government. CME already is fulfilling a portfolio of contract offerings, including a $49.5 million pact in 2020 with the Department of Defense's Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for hospital equipment and accessories for use by The Department of Defense, The Department of Veterans Administration and Indian Health Services, a Federal Supply Schedule agreement and a separate DLA distribution and pricing agreement (DAPA).
The new five-year GSA contract, with three 5-year options, provides urgently needed products, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), ultraviolet disinfecting systems, workstations on wheels, furniture and storage solutions.

With some 12,000 federal workers and an annual budget of about $21 billion, GSA oversees $66 billion in procurement per year while managing approximately 8,700 buildings around the U.S. Its property includes the second largest federal building in the U.S. after the Pentagon.
