WATERBURY, Conn. - May 6, 2021 - PRLog -- Acts 4 Ministry, Inc., the non-denominational non-profit located at 1713 Thomaston Avenue in Waterbury, was the highly grateful recipient of dozens of personal care items donated by residents throughout the Greater Waterbury community during the Quassy Cares Neighbors In Need Weekends held April 24 and 25, and May 1 and 2, 2021.

"We have been truly blessed with a bountiful donation of personal care items from Quassy Amusement Park in Middlebury. We are enormously grateful they included us in their opening two weekends of the Quassy Cares Neighbors In Need program. Between Friday, April 30, and Tuesday, May 4, Emily Anderson, co-owner of Quassy Amusement Park dropped off all of the donated personal care and toiletry items to our Waterbury facility," commented Acts 4 Ministry, Inc. Executive Director Sarah Elizabeth Carabetta.

Carabetta continued, "We were truly overcome with joy to receive such an abundance from residents of the local area communities. Many families, whether low income or forced into hard times due to the pandemic, have found themselves not having the funds to purchase personal care items.

The support of the Quassy Cares program, combined with the generosities of members of our communities, has enabled our team of volunteers to provide an average of $250 worth of personal care products to each family we serve. This quantity of items should last a family on average six full weeks. Acts 4 Ministry's staff, volunteers, and board of directors feel incredibly blessed to inspire acts of love by sharing these gifts with others!"

On May 4th Carabetta (left) was photographed receiving a full SUV's worth of personal care items from Quassy Amusement Park Co-Owner Emily Anderson. Items donated included soaps, diapers, hair shampoos, and conditioners, toothbrushes, and toothpaste, and dozens of other toiletries and personal care products.

Acts 4 Ministry is a collaborative group of a volunteer board of directors, staff members, and dozens of volunteers who desire to share God's love by meeting the comforting physical needs of others. "We work toward this goal daily," explained Acts 4 Ministry Chairman of the Board John Bishop. "Our mission is to continually work with the community to collect and redistribute needed furnishings and household items to families and individuals throughout the Greater Waterbury region who are in need of assistance especially during these trying times of the past pandemic year."
