Inspiring Free Video Helps Neighborhoods Build Sense of Community
Neighbors Helping Neighbors Project Launches Free Instructional Video
If you are already active in your neighborhood, wish to become active or just want to learn more, this video is for you. You will learn how to plan and execute successful (proven) programs that not only builds awareness and inspires, but also will make your neighborhood stronger.
"I'm not a professional speaker and I don't claim to be," said Louis Godin, the Orchard Neighbors Helping Neighbors Organizer (South Burlington, VT). "But I do believe in what we are doing in our neighborhood and this drives me to tell our story and inspire others."
"Based on his own personal experience, Louis Godin understands how neighborhood volunteer efforts can have a broad, positive impact on our community at large," Jane Mitchell, a former nonprofit development director and volunteer coordinator, said. "It's human nature to want to help others but, more often than not, people don't know where to begin. The Neighbors Helping Neighbors video shows just how easy and convenient it can be to give back and have fun at the same time."
Neighbors Helping Neighbors Project. Are you a community leader? With 70,000 neighborhoods in the US, we can make a difference.
