Board voted unanimously to reopen the chamber for events and meetings

"After considering all safety precautions, as well as the needs of our members, the board decided it was time to return to in-person events," said Chairman Ravinder LaL. "As the voice of the business community, it is imperative that we facilitate ways for our members to connect in beneficial ways, while also keeping community health a top priority. To that end, we will continue to follow the latest local, state, and CDC health requirements."
SVCCC has adhered to stay-at-home restrictions since early March 2020 when it transitioned to a fully virtual environment. During that time, the Chamber continued advocating, educating, and connecting members using online virtual platforms instead of its familiar in-person operations.
"I look forward to welcoming our members back in person," said SVCCC President & CEO Christian D. Malesic. "The Silicon Valley Central Chamber is THE Business Chamber in Silicon Valley. We are leaders in business and leaders for business, which is why it is so important that we lead the way for the business community to get back to growth as we build the economy back safely and quickly."
