Matanzas on the Bay to offer dining features, live music May 5 for Cinco de Mayo

FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. - May 3, 2021 - PRLog -- Matanzas on the Bay on Fort Myers Beach will celebrate Cinco de Mayo on Wednesday, May 5 with all-day dining features and live music in the evening.

Festive appetizers on the menu for Cinco de Mayo include pico de gallo, loaded queso French fries and Dave's con queso dip. The pico de gallo is homemade, fresh-chopped and spicy, served with tortilla chips for $8. The loaded queso French fries feature crispy fries topped with queso dip, bacon bits, shredded cheddar and diced tomatoes for $10. Dave's con queso dip melds a creamy cheese sauce with diced jalapeno, spinach and pimento and is served with tortilla chips for $9.

For lunch, the fish taco wrap features fried white fish, pineapple coleslaw, diced tomatoes, guacamole and cheddar cheese and is served up with refried beans, rice and sour cream for $13. Also on the menu are shrimp or chicken quesadillas with blended cheese, salsa, sour cream, refried beans and rice for $14.

For lunch or dinner, the seafood chimichanga includes a lightly fried tortilla filled with shrimp, crab and homemade Monterey cream cheese, served with rice, refried beans and a side of sour cream. The dish is available for lunch at $16 or dinner at $19.

Matanzas on the Bay's Cinco de Mayo menu will be available from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., while supplies last. Drink specials include $4 Coronas and $6 house margaritas on the rocks, also available all day long, with regular Happy Hour from 3 to 6 p.m.

Live music can be enjoyed from 5 to 9 p.m. Free car parking and boat dockage are also available for guests traveling by land or sea.
