Special Recognition for "Girasoles del Recuerdo" by International Fine Artist Hedith Perdomo

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. & ATLANTA - May 2, 2021 - PRLog -- Hedith Perdomo's oil painting titled "Girasoles del Recuerdo" won a special recognition award at the 11^th Botanical online competition held by Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery in Palm Springs, CA. It will be on virtual display during the month of May 2021.

The gallery received 1,002 entries from 29 different countries from around the world, as well as from 36 states and the District of Columbia.

Hedith Perdomo was born in Colombia and raised in the plains of Venezuela. Now residing in the US, much of her inspiration comes from having grown up in the countryside on a farm, being surrounded by nature and wildlife. She works in oil on canvas, with subject matter including landscapes, seascapes and flora. Her recent work is focused on landscapes and seascapes. Her work has been featured by Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery, CA (earning a Special Recognition Award for her painting "Majestic Giants") and ArtHouse.NYC Gallery, NY (3 of her paintings were selected as top pieces and exhibited in NYC in Dec. 2020 and Mar 2021). 4 of her paintings were exhibited at The O Gallery, Atlanta, GA during March and April 2021.
