Board Certified Urologist Dr. Diego Rubinowicz Is First in Palm Beach County to Utilize Soltive Laser System to Treat Urinary Stones

ROYAL PALM BEACH, Fla. - April 28, 2021 - PRLog -- This morning, Dr. Diego Rubinowicz, a Board-Certified urologist and founder of the Urology Center of Palm Beach, became the first provider in Palm Beach County to utilize the Soltive SuperPulsed Laser System (Soltive Laser System) to treat a patient's urinary stones. The Soltive Laser System uses thulium fiber laser technology to break up kidney and ureteral stones. The patient, who lives in Wellington, was treated at Palms West Surgicenter in Loxahatchee.

The Soltive Laser System has US FDA 510(k) clearance and has been proven to generate finer particulate and dusted stones in half the time as a standard laser. According to Dr. Rubinowicz, the benefits to the patient include: a shorter procedure, easier and faster recovery, less cost because of shorter operating room time required, and less potential for complications. Candidates for the Soltive Laster System include anyone that has a stone in the kidney, urinary tract, or bladder.
