Love-Tree Social Welfare Foundation Hosted Taiwan Mulan Forum Encouraging Advocacy
By: Love-Tree Foundation
During this two-day event, experts and scholars from the UK, Denmark, Japan, Indonesia, India, Gambia, Venezuela, and Taiwan shared their experiences and insights into gender equality, female talent development, and the strategies applied. The forum has inspired participants to have a much profound and greater understanding of theories and practices in gender equality. All stories surrounded the central idea of autonomy and just as some of the speakers have shared, "None of us needs to accept the world as it is, because we can build our own stage and make the world move toward another way as it could be."
According to NGO CSW/NY, there were 10 thousand attendees across 150 countries with over 5,000 nonprofit organizations involved during the two-week period of the NGO CSW Forum. Love-Tree Foundation and CST Art and Culture Salon have long focused on the equality and welfare of disadvantaged groups and will be looking to provide more cross-domain cultural cooperation opportunities like this NGO CSW side event. It invites everyone to keep an eye on the updates for future events in the upcoming months.
