In the past five years, The DBL Center has played a critical role in helping New York business owners implement Paid Family Leave as a rider to New York short-term disability benefits (DBL). Now, the company is using that expertise and leveraging relationships with top carriers to help Massachusetts and Connecticut brokers introduce Paid Family and Medical Leave to their customers.

New Group Sales Rep to Support Connecticut and Massachusetts Insurance Brokers

As part of the growth initiative, The DBL Center has hired Brian Dewey as group sales representative for New England. Dewey, a Massachusetts native and Connecticut resident, comes to The DBL Center with nearly a decade of group benefits experience. He has worked with carriers that include Sun Life and Ameritas with a focus on ancillary benefits.

"My first goal is to help The DBL Center build their presence in the New England states," Dewey says.
