Canada Invites 6,000 Applications of the CEC Candidates in the Latest Canada Express Entry Draw

NEW DELHI - April 18, 2021 - PRLog -- Canada conducted its recent Express Entry draw on April 16, 2021. The draw was conducted under the category for Canadian Experience Class of the Canada Express Entry.  A total of 6,000 candidates were invited by the IRCC to apply for the permanent residence in Canada.

The CRS score for the fore mentioned draw was 417 which is 15 points lesser than the last Canada Express Entry draw conducted under the Canadian Experience Class. However the CRS score was kept low, the number of invitations was 1000 more than the previous draw.

The Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) ranks the candidates on the basis of the CRS score and the profiles with the highest ranking are invited to apply for the Canada PR.

Canada has so far invited 43,923 successful invitees within the range of 401-450. In the times of score clash the date and the time of submission of the Canada Express Entry profiles are considered to break the tie.

The Canadian Experience Class immigrants can live anywhere in Canada expect from the province of Quebec which selects its own skilled workers.

An invitee's Canada Express Entry profile is valid for 90 days from the date of invitation. If due to inactivity there is stagnancy in the profile, then the candidate's profile and the application process is liable to be rejected.

There have been recent changes in the Express Entry system for example now you can earn up to 50 additional points for strong French language skills. This change is also applicable on those who have French as their second language.

The maximum points that an individual can score in the CRS system are 1,200 points. The factors included in the CRS are Core/Human capital factors, Spouse or common-law partner related factors, Skill transferability factors, and Additional factors.

Kindly note that you would not be considered eligible for the Canadian Experience Class if:

• You are a refugee claimant in Canada;
• You are working without authorization; and
• Your work experience was gained without temporary resident status in Canada.

Being a Canada permanent resident provides many benefits and perks to enjoy while staying in Canada and working there. Canadian Experience Class is one of the three economic streams to migrate to Canada. The other two streams are Federal Skilled Worker stream and the Federal Skilled Trades stream.
