BETHLEHEM, Pa. - April 14, 2021 - PRLog -- The Metal Buildings Institute (MBI) is pleased to announce it was awarded a generous grant from the Ketenbrink Education Foundation (KEF). Funds will be used to update and refresh the MBI's signature Quality and Craftsmanship Video series. These videos were created for use in the training and development of metal building assemblers and debuted in 2001.

The KEF is the legacy of Bob and Bev Ketenbrink. Its stated goal is to assist in improving the quality of metal building construction and the training available in the metal building industry. Bob was instrumental in the development of MBI's Quality and Craftsmanship Training Series.

The MBI is excited to expand on the Ketenbrink legacy. Tim Seyler, President of MBI, said, "The Quality and Craftsmanship series has been used to train thousands of young erectors. It is the only training program of its kind – developed by erectors for erectors. We thank the KEF for investing in necessary updates so we can continue to train tomorrow's workforce today."

-----
The MBI was formed in 2000 with a goal is to improve the quality of in-place metal building construction by providing education and training programs to metal building contractors, erectors, and students in construction programs, for the direct benefit of specifiers, designers, and owners.
