"Inclusive leaders must take steps to create an environment where everyone can succeed, not just during a certain day or week or month but each and every day," said Ramos.

Inclusive leadership is far more than a means of recognizing ethnic, cultural, and gender differences. It's essential for attracting the brightest and most innovative minds to create solutions that will meet business, economic, and social challenges now and in the future. Tyner provides her Leadership Framework for Action™ that is rooted in DEI principles. It addresses unconscious and implicit bias and fosters honest discussions.

Tyner covers the four essential stages for being an inclusive leader, beginning with the intrapersonal. It's a journey of self-discovery that examines the beliefs, customs, practices, and values that influence the individual. Stage two is the interpersonal in which individuals learn how to build authentic relationships with others.

The third stage is organizational. Readers will discover how to establish strategic outcomes and promote equity within a variety of situations and environments. The final stage deals with societal changes and developing durable and sustainable solutions. This stage recognizes an inclusive leader (https://planting-people-growing-justice-leadership-instit...) is an innovator and committed to the betterment of society.

"The Inclusive Leader: Taking Intentional Action for Justice and Equity" by Dr. Artika R. Tyner provides an in-depth look at the qualities of an inclusive leader, provides practical methods, and is an effective road map for success.
