Our vision for Komoka is coming to life! We've built Komoka Optometry from the ground up to offer both exceptional eye care and the latest eyewear for you and your family. We are here to give Komoka the gift of good vision — we can't wait to see you!

When Dr. Christina Chan and her husband moved into the community in 2020, she knew Komoka would be the perfect spot to open an optometry practice.  Having practiced in Arva for many years, she loved the close-knit feeling of a small-town practice. She loved being able to serve generations of a family and getting to know her patients on a personal level. Dr. Chan hopes to be able to bring the same level of care and expertise to her patients in Komoka.

Everything you see at Komoka Optometry–from the team members you meet, to the interior design, our collection of frames and state-of-the-art technology–is built on Dr.Christina Chan's dream of giving Komoka the gift of good vision. From an early age, Dr. Chan knew she loved helping people and wanted to channel that passion into her own medical practice. After receiving her Honours Bachelor of Medical Science (with a double major in Pharmacology, Toxicology and Physiology) from the University of Western Ontario in her hometown of London, Ontario, Dr. Chan went on to complete her Doctorate of Optometry at Nova Southeastern University in Florida in 2011. As a Doctor of Optometry, Dr. Chan makes it her goal to care for her clients by building strong relationships and treating each patient like family.

She's based her practice on her commitment to ensuring your eye health and vision is well cared for by taking the time to get to know you and understand your unique needs on a personal level. As the co-owner of Upper Richmond Optometry in Arva, Dr. Chan is now bringing her passion for new evolutions in eye care and her unique style and fashion sense to Komoka, Kilworth, Delaware, Mount Brydges, Strathroy, London and its surrounding areas.
