KOllision: Revolutionizing New York's Fashion and Art Scenes through Spring Makeovers and Workshops
Event will take place on Saturday, April 10th, 2021 from 11AM-7:30PM
It has been a year since the pandemic changed NYC. Today, spring is in full blossom and our city welcomes a fresh sense of hope with business reopenings and COVID 19 vaccinations. KOllision aims to provide a safe space for New Yorkers to recharge, refresh, and reconnect through art and business workshops. There will be two themed life drawing sessions with models: Nellie Blue embodying the Norse Goddess of Spring and Tyler Bey's exploration of Black Beauty. In addition, photographer Flint Gennari will teach Light painting photography, using mixed media to create standout art pieces.
The business workshops are run in the powerful format of TED Talks covering marketing, branding and work-life balance. Joseph Fraia, Chief Editor of Livein Magazine, will review 10 Marketing Tips that Will Boost Your Business. Pratt University Professor, Nina Edwards will then teach a crash course on How to Create a Strong Personal Brand in 2021. Finally, Andrea DiLieto of MBDbeauty will share how to balance entrepreneurship and motherhood.
The event will finish with a big bang, also known as "Free Happy Hour" from 5pm-7:30pm in the beautiful NYC Arts Empire gallery. Guests and speakers network over refreshing drinks while KOVASKY styling continues, offering women a stylish and functional wardrobe for spring.
Through KOllision, Minika Ko delivers insightful and inspirational experiences for attendees to be intellectually, creatively, and fashionably transformed.
